Alpha status and no warranty

FFSurvivor is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

During alpha you should expect rough edges: features that appear and disappear, data that is reset, downtime during a deploy, and simulations that fail and need rerunning. We do not promise uptime, backups, or that your pools will still be there tomorrow. Keep your own record of your picks.

Decision support, not gambling advice

This is the most important section on the page. FFSurvivor is an analysis tool. It reads publicly posted betting odds, removes the bookmaker's margin to estimate a win probability, and simulates seasons so you can compare pick strategies.

• FFSurvivor is not a sportsbook, a betting exchange, or a broker. You cannot place a wager here and no money moves through this site.
• Nothing on the site is gambling advice, investment advice, or a prediction of any real outcome. A recommendation is the output of a model, not a tip.
• You are responsible for knowing whether your pool is legal where you live and for following its rules. We do not run your pool and we are not a party to it.
• If gambling is causing you harm, please seek help. In the United States, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-522-4700.

No guarantee of accuracy

Odds come from a third-party data provider and are synced on a schedule, which means the numbers you see may be stale, incomplete, or wrong. Schedules change, games get moved, and providers make mistakes. Probability overrides you enter yourself are entirely your own judgment.

Simulations are estimates built on those inputs. They describe how a strategy performs against a model of the season, not what will actually happen. Verify anything that matters before you act on it. Any decision you make using FFSurvivor is yours.

Your account

You need an account to use the product, and accounts are created through Auth0. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and you must give accurate information when you sign up.

Your account is yours alone. Do not share your login, and tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Acceptable use

Use FFSurvivor to plan your own survivor picks. Do not do any of the following.

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk download the site, or resell our odds or simulation output as your own product.
• Run automated traffic that degrades the service for other people, including hammering the simulation endpoints.
• Try to reach another user's pools, picks, or account, or to bypass authentication and authorization.
• Probe, scan, or attack the infrastructure, or upload anything malicious.
• Use the site to break the law, to run an illegal betting operation, or to violate the rules of a pool you are in.
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with FFSurvivor or the NFL.

Your data and our content

The pools, picks, and overrides you enter stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them so we can run the product for you. Our privacy policy explains what we do with them.

The site itself, its code, its design, and its simulation output belong to us. NFL team names and logos are the property of their owners and appear here for identification only. FFSurvivor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League or any team.

Third-party services

FFSurvivor depends on outside services, including Auth0 for sign-in and The Odds API for market odds. Their terms apply to their part of the experience, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct. If one of them goes down, part of FFSurvivor goes down with it.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using FFSurvivor at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing support@ffsurvivor.com.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or that we are required to close. Where it is reasonable we will tell you first. We may also discontinue FFSurvivor entirely, in which case we will give account holders notice by email where we can.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, FFSurvivor and everyone who works on it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost pool entries, lost winnings, lost data, or lost profits, arising from your use of the site.

Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Changes to these terms

We will update these terms as the product changes, and the date at the top of this page shows the current version. For a material change we will notify account holders by email or with a notice in the app. Continuing to use FFSurvivor after a change means you accept the new terms.
